and Snack Shack!

Thiessen’s Kountry Kitchen and Snack Shack is open daily from September 5th until October 27th, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Enjoy the delicious treats before or after (or both) apple or pumpkin picking, strolling the beautifully decorated grounds, or watching your kids have fun in the play areas. Sit, relax and satisfy your hunger or sweet tooth with some good old-fashioned treats.

Please note:
There is no admission fee to enjoy the Kountry Kitchen and Snack Shack or to pick apples from the pre-picked apple bins.

How to Cook Mennonite Sausage

  • Thiessen’s peels the Sausage prior to cooking.
  • To peel-run the Sausage link under warm water for 10 seconds.
  • Use a knife to peel back the casing.
  • To cook Sausage Pre-heat oven to 350°F.
  • Place peeled Sausage in a dish and cook for 45 min (turning once after 20 min.)

  • Apple Pie cooking-cook from thaw.
  • Pre heat oven to 350°F.
  • Brush the top of the pie with milk. *For a crisp crust with a matte, classic pie appearance.
